Physical and Chemical Properties | Recombinant EPO has the same biological activity as human endogenous EPO, which can accelerate the differentiation of primitive blood cells in bone marrow, accelerate the maturation of nucleated red blood cells, promote the synthesis of hemoglobin, and promote the release of reticulocytes and mature red blood cells. Recombinant EPO is stable to heat, does not deform at 80 ℃, can tolerate organic solvents, has stable activity at pH 3.5-10, loses biological activity after disulfide bonds are opened, and is sensitive to proteolytic enzyme, alkylation and iodination. It is not suitable for freeze-drying. |
